From Sketch to Swag:Tactical Designs

Marc is a big fan of tactical military gear and engineering, which he draws inspiration from movies and video games. When he's not working on design projects for clients, he enjoys sketching these types of genres on his iPad. Sometimes, a particular sketch will catch his eye and he'll decide to turn it into merchandise like t-shirts, stickers, phone cases, and more. One of his hobby sketches, "Own the Night," became his first successful design venture.

Designs that sell themselves

When Marc finished mocking up his latest design on various products, he faced the challenge of making it available for sale with minimal effort. Since his initial goal was to have fun rather than make a profit, he decided to upload the design to on-demand third-party websites such as Redbubble. This way, the design could remain online indefinitely, and another company could handle order fulfillment. Not only did this approach allow him to avoid accumulating unsold merchandise in his garage, but it also served as a promotional tool for his work.
