DIGITAL LOOKING GLASS: Futuristic design for business intelligence
Marc led the UI design for a custom dashboard platform that utilized Artificial Intelligence to provide detailed reports on consumer behavior for various brands and agencies. His challenge was to create an interface style that was visually appealing and easy to understand for business executives who may not be familiar with standard dashboard analytics. To achieve this, Marc incorporated a futuristic Hollywood film style into the mockup interfaces, making it more familiar to the common user. The result was a unique and user-friendly design that allowed executives to easily navigate and understand the data. Client mockup interfaces were created for Shoe Palace, Sprint Mobile and the Country of Qatar.

Marc's dedication and hard work towards GoldenSpear were unwavering, so much so that he decided to leave his studies at The Art Institute of California - San Francisco just shy of graduation. His focus on the platform was a defining factor in his decision.
2021
During this particular phase in the company's history, we made the decision to tilt the spear icon slightly upwards as a tribute to the rising achievements and technological advancements that the company was experiencing.
2019
In order to stay aligned with contemporary branding standards, we opted to eliminate color and streamline the design details for improved legibility on smaller screens and resolutions. This move resulted in a sleeker, more contemporary design that is future-proof.
2017
It was decided to enhance the power of the company's branding by enlarging the "G" and "S" to match the way GoldenSpear was written, resulting in a cohesive and reinforced brand identity.
2015
To appeal to the luxury markets in America and Europe, the company altered its font and color scheme while preserving the core design.
2010
By introducing the modern spear icon, the company updated its image to align with its technological advancements. This marked the first instance of such a change.
2009
The first GoldenSpear logo was crafted with the burgeoning middle class market in China in focus, taking inspiration from the historical significance of the spear in China's past as a technological feat and a symbol of technological advancement.

Marc conducts a comprehensive analysis of competitors' and other brands' websites, identifying features that could be beneficial for the client's website. He then prepares a detailed specification document outlining the advantages and disadvantages of each feature for the team's review.
Rough Flow
Marc sketches a rough map of the UX flow, opting for small post-it notes that he can arrange on a wall to quickly generate and refine ideas. This method allows for easy editing and streamlined ideation.
Detailed UX Flow
Based on the post-it notes, Marc develops a detailed UX flow chart that he shares with the team to review and provide feedback on any issues or recommendations. This version of the UX concept is carefully crafted to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the user journey.
Wireframes
Using Sketch or UX Pin, Marc generates sets of wireframes that provide a more comprehensive view of the UX and initiate the UI layout process. These wireframes serve as a foundation for the design team to work from and ensure consistency in the user interface.
